About kites

Four kites, chosen deliberately rather than a wall of variants. Gudda in 1 tawa and 1.5 tawa — the two grades an ordinary Lahore rooftop can fly comfortably — a decorated Fancy version of the 1.5, and a full-size 4.5 githi patang for flyers who want the big kite and have the wind for it.

Tawa and githi are paper-quantity gradings, not shapes: the higher the number, the more paper in the kite, the more wind it needs and the harder it pulls. A 1 tawa gudda is the sensible first kite. The 4.5 githi patang is a serious kite that earns its price in the air — patang costs more because it costs more to make, and we would rather say that plainly than pad the range with sizes nobody asked for.

Every kite is sold single or by the dozen — which for patang goes by its trade name, a raqam. Twelve costs exactly twelve times the single price. We do not discount dozens, because supply is the honest constraint this season: 2026 ran short across the city, and holding stock for a dozen is worth exactly what holding stock for twelve singles is worth.

All stock sits within the legal size limits of the Punjab Regulation of Kite Flying Ordinance 2025 and carries the government QR sticker resolving to the licensed manufacturer who made it. We are a registered seller, not a manufacturer, and we will not sell stock that cannot be verified that way.
