Today's listed price is fixed, whatever the market does.

Compliance
Sold by M/S SpeedX Kites, registered as a Seller under the Punjab Regulation of Kite Flying Ordinance, 2025 (Reg No. 38731-28012026). All stock is sourced from manufacturers licensed in the four Punjab districts approved to produce kite-flying material.
About this product
One tawa is the gudda grade most people can fly from a normal rooftop without fighting it. It has real pull — noticeably more than a small patang — without demanding open ground or experienced hands, which is why it is the kite we point first-time buyers at.
Sold single, or as a dozen at exactly twelve times the single price. A rooftop group loses kites all day; the dozen exists so the flying does not stop when the first one goes.
Within the Ordinance size cap for gudda, QR-stickered, and traceable to a licensed manufacturer. Pair it with any of our 9-ply cotton pinna and wear gloves.
1 tawa gudda price in Lahore
Rs. 300 for a single kite today, Rs. 3,600 for a dozen — the dozen is always exactly twelve singles, never a hidden markup. Through the 2026 season, registered sellers listed 1 tawa gudda at around Rs. 300, and that is the bracket we hold ours in.
Kite prices climb as Basant approaches — 2026 buyers who waited for the final week paid the most and found the least. A free reservation is charged at whatever the market rate is on delivery day; if you would rather freeze the Rs. 300, a 50% deposit locks it.
What does 1 tawa actually mean?
Tawa is a paper-quantity grade, not a shape — one tawa of kite paper makes this kite. More tawa means more paper, more wind needed, and more pull on the line. The ladder in our shop runs 1 tawa, 1.5 tawa, then patang grades measured in githi.
For a first kite since the ban lifted, this grade is the honest recommendation: it flies from an ordinary walled rooftop in ordinary Lahore wind, and it forgives the mistakes every returning flyer makes in the first hour.
Common questions
How many kites should a rooftop order for one Basant day?
Groups lose kites all day — cut lines, hard landings, walls. For a family rooftop, a dozen 1 tawa gudda between four or five flyers is the working minimum; serious rooftops order several dozen. That attrition is why the dozen option exists.
Is the 1 tawa gudda good for children?
No — not because of the kite, but because of the law. The 2025 Ordinance restricts kite flying to adults aged 18 and over. Children can watch from the rooftop under supervision, but the person holding the line must be an adult.
Is this kite legal to fly in Punjab?
Yes. It sits within the size limits set by the Punjab Regulation of Kite Flying Ordinance, 2025 and carries the government QR sticker, which resolves to the e-Biz Punjab portal and names the licensed manufacturer who made it. Flying is restricted to adults aged 18 and over.
How do I pay?
Two ways to book. A free reservation costs nothing — we confirm it on WhatsApp, hold your stock, and you pay the market rate on the day of delivery. Or pay a 50% deposit (bank transfer, JazzCash, NayaPay or SadaPay — details shared on WhatsApp) to lock the listed price. The balance is paid on delivery.
Is the price fixed when I pre-book?
Only if you lock it. A free reservation holds stock, not a rate — prices moved daily through the 2026 season and rose steeply in the final week, so you pay the market rate on delivery day, always confirmed before dispatch. A 50% deposit locks the listed price in both directions: it will not rise on you, and it will not fall either.
When will it be delivered?
Once the Punjab government permits sale for Basant 2027 (announced for 12–14 March). We are not delivering before then — sale outside the festival window is not allowed. When sale opens we contact everyone holding a pre-booking, in the order reservations were made, and publish a delivery deadline.
Am I committed if I pre-book?
No. A free reservation costs nothing and can be cancelled with a message. A 50% deposit is refunded in full if Basant is cancelled or restricted, or if you cancel before dispatch — we do not keep deposits for a festival that does not happen.
