Sold by M/S SpeedX Kites, registered as a Seller under the Punjab Regulation of Kite Flying Ordinance, 2025 (Reg No. 38731-28012026). All stock is sourced from manufacturers licensed in the four Punjab districts approved to produce kite-flying material.

About this product

Flying-wise this is our 1.5 Tawa Gudda: same paper grade, same size, same pull. What you are paying for is the decoration — bold printed designs in the classic Lahore styles: card suits (spade, heart, star), taj circles, and strong two-colour blocking on white.

Decoration is not vanity at distance. A plain kite disappears against a bright afternoon sky; a Fancy with a heavy dark motif stays readable at the end of a full pinna, which is exactly when you need to know whose kite is whose.

Designs vary by stock — tell us on WhatsApp if you want a particular style and we will tell you honestly what is in that week. Single or a dozen at exact multiples.

Fancy gudda price in Lahore

Rs. 650 single, Rs. 7,800 for a dozen — Rs. 200 over the plain 1.5 tawa it is built on. That premium buys the printing, not a different kite: same paper grade, same size, same legal limits.

Decorated kites rarely get listed separately by Lahore sellers online, which makes prices hard to compare — most shops quote them over the counter. We publish ours, and the lock works the same as everywhere else on the site: 50% down freezes Rs. 650, a free reservation pays the day-of-delivery rate.

What counts as a Fancy design

The classic Lahore fancy styles: playing-card suits — spades, hearts, stars — printed bold on white paper, taj circle motifs, and strong two-colour blocking. The designs photograph well, but their real job is recognition: at the end of a full pinna, a heavy dark motif on white is the kite you can still identify as yours.

Stock designs rotate through the season. If you want a particular motif for your rooftop, say so on WhatsApp when you book and we will confirm what the week's stock actually holds rather than promising what we have not seen.

Common questions

Does the Fancy fly differently from the plain 1.5 tawa?

No — printing adds no meaningful weight. It is the same 1.5 tawa gudda in the air: same wind range, same pull, same line advice. You are choosing looks and visibility, not flight behaviour.

Can I pick the design when I pre-book?

You can name a preference and we will match it if that design is in stock the week of delivery. Designs rotate with supply, so we promise the style family — card suits, taj circles, two-colour blocks — rather than one exact print.

Is this kite legal to fly in Punjab?

Yes. It sits within the size limits set by the Punjab Regulation of Kite Flying Ordinance, 2025 and carries the government QR sticker, which resolves to the e-Biz Punjab portal and names the licensed manufacturer who made it. Flying is restricted to adults aged 18 and over.

How do I pay?

Two ways to book. A free reservation costs nothing — we confirm it on WhatsApp, hold your stock, and you pay the market rate on the day of delivery. Or pay a 50% deposit (bank transfer, JazzCash, NayaPay or SadaPay — details shared on WhatsApp) to lock the listed price. The balance is paid on delivery.

Is the price fixed when I pre-book?

Only if you lock it. A free reservation holds stock, not a rate — prices moved daily through the 2026 season and rose steeply in the final week, so you pay the market rate on delivery day, always confirmed before dispatch. A 50% deposit locks the listed price in both directions: it will not rise on you, and it will not fall either.

When will it be delivered?

Once the Punjab government permits sale for Basant 2027 (announced for 12–14 March). We are not delivering before then — sale outside the festival window is not allowed. When sale opens we contact everyone holding a pre-booking, in the order reservations were made, and publish a delivery deadline.

Am I committed if I pre-book?

No. A free reservation costs nothing and can be cancelled with a message. A 50% deposit is refunded in full if Basant is cancelled or restricted, or if you cancel before dispatch — we do not keep deposits for a festival that does not happen.
