Pre-booking, delivery & payment
We are not delivering yet. Kite flying is legal in Punjab only during the announced festival window, so nothing ships until the government permits sale for Basant 2027. In the meantime, reserve free — cancel any time — or lock today's price with a 50% deposit, refunded in full if the festival is cancelled.
How to pre-book
One option, and it costs nothing: reserve your stock now and pay the market rate on the day it is delivered.
Option 1
Free reservation
No payment
Charged at the market rate on the day of delivery.
- Best for
- Flexible — you owe nothing and can cancel with a message.
- The trade-off
- Your price is not fixed. If rates rise before delivery, you pay the higher rate.
Option 2
Locked price
50% today
Today's listed price is fixed, whatever the market does.
- Best for
- Certainty — the rate you see now is the rate you pay.
- The trade-off
- If market rates fall, you still pay the locked price. Locking removes uncertainty; it does not guarantee a saving.
Your deposit is protected. If Basant 2027 is cancelled, restricted so we cannot deliver, or you simply change your mind before dispatch, your 50% is refunded in full. We do not keep deposits for a festival that does not happen.
How pre-booking works
- 1
Reserve on WhatsApp
Send your list on WhatsApp, or tap Pre-book on any product page and it fills the message for you. Prices are published on every product page so you can see current rates.
- 2
We confirm and hold it
We confirm stock in writing. A free reservation takes no payment at all; if you chose the price lock, we confirm your 50% by bank transfer, JazzCash, NayaPay or SadaPay. Either way your place in the queue is held.
- 3
Government permits sale
Basant 2027 is announced for 12–14 March; delivery waits on the sale permits. When they land we contact everyone holding a pre-booking, in the order reservations were made, and publish a delivery deadline.
- 4
Delivery, then payment
Free reservations pay the market rate on the day, confirmed before dispatch; locked bookings pay their remaining 50%. Cash to the courier, or bank transfer, JazzCash, NayaPay and SadaPay.
Why kite prices move so much
Kite prices in Lahore are genuinely volatile. Rates at Mochi Gate moved daily through the 2026 season and rose sharply in the final week before the festival, because manufacturing is restricted to four licensed districts and supply cannot expand to meet a spike.
That is why a reservation is charged at the rate on the day of delivery rather than at today’s listed price. We would rather quote you honestly on the day than pretend a price six months out is one we can hold.
What we will not do is imply we can ship before the government permits sale in order to hurry you into a deposit. Some sellers blur exactly that line. What is actually confirmed is a short read.
Where we will deliver
Across Punjab once sale is permitted, with same-city delivery in Lahore. Commonly served cities:
- Lahore
- Rawalpindi
- Faisalabad
- Multan
- Gujranwala
- Sialkot
- Sargodha
- Bahawalpur
Full Lahore area coverage is listed on the Lahore page. We do not deliver kite-flying material into Sindh or Karachi, where it remains banned.
Questions
Can I buy kites right now?
No. We are taking pre-bookings only. Basant 2027 is announced for 12–14 March, but sale and manufacturing permits have not been issued — and kite-flying material can only be sold in the permitted window. So we reserve stock now and deliver nothing until the government permits sale.
What does a pre-booking cost?
Nothing, unless you choose the price lock. A free reservation takes no deposit and holds stock in your name, charged at the market rate on the day it is delivered — confirmed with you before dispatch. Or pay 50% by bank transfer, JazzCash, NayaPay or SadaPay to lock the listed price, with the balance on delivery.
Is my price fixed when I pre-book?
Only if you lock it. A free reservation holds stock, not a rate — prices in Lahore moved daily through the 2026 season and rose steeply in the final week, so you pay the market rate on delivery day. A 50% deposit fixes the listed price in both directions: it cannot rise on you, and it does not fall either.
Can I cancel a pre-booking?
Yes, any time before dispatch, by telling us on WhatsApp. There is no charge and no obligation. Since you have paid nothing, cancelling costs you nothing — which is the whole point of reserving early.
When will you start delivering?
Once the Punjab government issues sale permits for Basant 2027 (announced for 12–14 March). Nothing ships before that. When permits land we contact everyone holding a pre-booking, in the order reservations were made, and publish a hard delivery deadline.
Do you deliver to Karachi?
No. Kite flying, manufacture and sale remain banned in Sindh, and Karachi separately prohibits kite string. Delivering there would expose the buyer to legal risk, so we do not ship kite-flying material into the province regardless of the request.
