Option 1
Free reservation
No payment
Charged at the market rate on the day of delivery.
- Best for
- Flexible — you owe nothing and can cancel with a message.
- The trade-off
- Your price is not fixed. If rates rise before delivery, you pay the higher rate.
Option 2
Locked price
Rs. 3,200–Rs. 9,600 (50% of your option, today)
Today's listed price is fixed, whatever the market does.
- Best for
- Certainty — the rate you see now is the rate you pay.
- The trade-off
- If market rates fall, you still pay the locked price. Locking removes uncertainty; it does not guarantee a saving.
Your deposit is protected. If Basant 2027 is cancelled, restricted so we cannot deliver, or you simply change your mind before dispatch, your 50% is refunded in full. We do not keep deposits for a festival that does not happen.

Sold by M/S SpeedX Kites, registered as a Seller under the Punjab Regulation of Kite Flying Ordinance, 2025 (Reg No. 38731-28012026). All stock is sourced from manufacturers licensed in the four Punjab districts approved to produce kite-flying material.
About this product
The Minar names are among the string names Lahore flyers use as shorthand, and 25 Minar is the lighter-priced of the two we stock. Nine-ply uncoated cotton wound in 1,000-yard pieces, QR-stickered like everything on this shelf.
It flies gudda and patang alike without fuss, which is why Minar strings end up on so many charkhis — an all-rounder you do not have to think about.
Available as 2, 4 or 6 pieces at exact multiples. Free reservation pays the market rate on delivery day; a 50% deposit locks the listed price both ways.
25 Minar pinna price in Lahore
Today's rate: Rs. 6,400 per 2 pieces, Rs. 12,800 per 4, Rs. 19,200 per 6. The senior 35 Minar sits Rs. 800 above it on our shelf — that gap is the whole decision between the two Minars, because both are the same legal 9-ply cotton underneath.
In 2026 the Minar names moved with the general market, which ran anywhere from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 8,500 for comparable 2-piece pinna depending on the seller and the week. Published, dated pricing is our answer to that chaos: the figure you see is the figure a 50% deposit locks.
Common questions
25 Minar or 35 Minar — what is the actual difference?
Reputation and rate. The names come from the same tradition, both are 9-ply cotton, and both fly every kite we sell. 35 Minar is the name more flyers ask for by default, so it commands Rs. 800 more per 2 pieces; 25 Minar is the quiet-value pick.
How long does 2,000 yards of pinna last on a Basant day?
A careful flyer can run a full day on 2 pieces; a rooftop trading cuts all afternoon can go through far more, because every lost battle costs the line that went with the kite. Groups that fly aggressively usually book 4 or 6 pieces per active flyer.
Is this string legal in Punjab?
Yes. It is thread-based 9-ply cotton with no coating — the only kind of kite string the Punjab Regulation of Kite Flying Ordinance, 2025 permits. Metallic and chemical-coated string is banned outright and we do not sell it. Every pinna carries the government QR sticker, which resolves to the e-Biz Punjab portal and names the licensed manufacturer.
How do I pay?
Two ways to book. A free reservation costs nothing — we confirm it on WhatsApp, hold your stock, and you pay the market rate on the day of delivery. Or pay a 50% deposit (bank transfer, JazzCash, NayaPay or SadaPay — details shared on WhatsApp) to lock the listed price. The balance is paid on delivery.
Is the price fixed when I pre-book?
Only if you lock it. A free reservation holds stock, not a rate — prices moved daily through the 2026 season and rose steeply in the final week, so you pay the market rate on delivery day, always confirmed before dispatch. A 50% deposit locks the listed price in both directions: it will not rise on you, and it will not fall either.
When will it be delivered?
Once the Punjab government permits sale for Basant 2027 (announced for 12–14 March). We are not delivering before then — sale outside the festival window is not allowed. When sale opens we contact everyone holding a pre-booking, in the order reservations were made, and publish a delivery deadline.
Am I committed if I pre-book?
No. A free reservation costs nothing and can be cancelled with a message. A 50% deposit is refunded in full if Basant is cancelled or restricted, or if you cancel before dispatch — we do not keep deposits for a festival that does not happen.
